Skip it if you…

- Players looking for a primarily competitive multiplayer game will not find that focus here
Our take on Forge Quest
The mix-and-match class system broadens character development, but it gives up the distinct identity of committing to one fixed class. Randomized dungeons also trade authored layouts for repeatable variation, while the light-hearted setting limits the weight of its hero narrative.
What is Forge Quest?
Forge Quest is a dungeon-crawling RPG set in a voxel world where an adventurer seeks a Hero license in the land of Shmoop.
Players explore randomly generated dungeons with scaling difficulty, fight monsters and bosses, collect treasure, and forge equipment into stronger items. Character progression allows abilities from all 9 classes to be combined while leveling. The game supports solo play and network co-op for up to 4 players. Its story follows a light-hearted journey through a bureaucratic hero system, with the goal of proving what it means to become a hero. The world also includes voxel chickens.
