Our take on Flyout
The defining experience is building an aircraft from a free-form fuselage and wing design, then seeing its shape affect flight behavior through simulated aerodynamics.
What is Flyout?
Flyout is an aircraft construction and flight simulation game centered on unrestricted design.
Create fuselages and wings with in-game modeling tools, configure turbines, ramjets, piston engines, electric motors, propellers, rotors, landing gear, and control systems, then test designs in flight. Aircraft behavior reflects wing geometry, fuselage drag, engine operation, atmosphere, wind, turbulence, vertical drafts, and ground effect. The game includes material, texture, paint, and custom decal tools, plus reference-image importing for replicas. Modding currently supports importing OBJ models and textures. Test flights take place around an earth-sized procedurally generated planet. The game has no in-game tutorials, limited tooltips, and requires at least a basic understanding of aircraft physics and flight controls.
