Flowstone Saga is a 16-bit, JRPG-inspired adventure set across the Ocean's End islands.
Its battles combine falling-block puzzles with RPG abilities: clearing lines deals damage, while Link Crystals, Orbs, items, elemental Powers, equipment, Perks, and Jobs shape each encounter. Combat can run in real time or switch to Hold Mode, where pieces stop falling and enemy actions advance when blocks are locked. Battles can include up to 3 monsters, each with disruptive abilities. Outside combat, Mirai explores handcrafted maps and dungeons, restores structures, solves puzzles, gathers resources, completes quests, and helps expand New Riverstone. The game also includes house and town decoration, a two-player local assist mode, difficulty settings, minigames, and a soundtrack with over 70 songs.
