Our take on Flashback
Rather than restarting the series with a new interpretation, Flashback revisits its established side-scrolling structure while adding gadgets, experience progression, refreshed presentation, and a revised story.
What is Flashback?
Flashback reimagines the original side-scrolling action adventure with its original creative team involved.
The game combines rolling, shooting, exploration of remote space stations, and combat against hostile alien planets. Updated mechanics add gadgets and an experience progression system while retaining the earlier formula. The story includes returning characters such as Conrad and the Morphs, alongside new characters and plot twists. The presentation uses modern engines and refreshed graphics and animations. Online features are no longer supported as of November 2017, and multiplayer and co-op cannot be accessed.
