Our take on Five Nights at Backrooms: Waifu Edition
The premise emphasizes cute entities, night movement, and frequent jumpscares, but the playable structure centers on cameras, doors, and power management. Customization is also locked until five nights are completed, leaving the core loop as the main focus first.
What is Five Nights at Backrooms: Waifu Edition?
Set in a previously unknown Backrooms level, the game places the player in a small office with a generator while cute-looking entities become deadly at close range.
The entities move only during the night shift. Security cameras track their positions, while doors provide a last line of defense when an entity leaves its post. Both systems consume a limited supply of electricity, so power must be managed throughout each night. Three dolls have separate AI behaviors: some need more frequent observation, while others move often. Surviving five nights opens a custom night mode with adjustable settings. Jumpscares are also included as part of the horror presentation.
How Five Nights at Backrooms: Waifu Edition plays

- 03Custom night mode

- 04Office surveillance
- The player monitors entity positions through cameras and closes doors when tracking fails.
