Our take on First Person Hooper
The bounce point arrives when a player expects a complete basketball game: the experience stays focused on first-person jump shots, timed challenges, and score improvement. Players who do not enjoy repeating shooting drills to refine timing may run out of reasons to continue after exploring the three modes.
What is First Person Hooper?
A solo arcade basketball game centered on jump shots from a first-person perspective.
Shot power and timing respond to movement and court position, while lock-on aiming supports quick releases. Score through perfect releases, swishes, bank shots, fadeaways, movement bonuses, and consecutive-shot multipliers. Arcade mode sets a score target within a chosen time limit, Spot Up records speed from designated court locations, and Zen mode offers free shooting with real-time statistics. Players can customize the ball, court, hoop, crosshair, interface, and other game settings. A shot chart tracks shot types and percentages. The game includes power-ups, secrets, special zones, semi-realistic physics, online leaderboards, Steam achievements, controller support, and Steam Cloud synchronization for high scores.
