The likely bounce point is the control scheme: players expecting familiar shooter movement may stop when they encounter the removal of hip-firing and sprinting, combined with unusually strong recoil. Score-focused players may also hit a wall at the local-only rankings.
What is Shooters, Ready!?
Shooters, Ready!
is an arcade-style first-person shooter set in a parallel modern Japan where sports shooting is nationally popular. Players move quickly through connected rooms and hit scattered targets, with fast, precise, consecutive shots contributing to higher scores. Story Mode follows three high-school girls pursuing a national competition, with a playtime of approximately 30–60 minutes. Arcade Mode is the main content, offering runs of about 10 minutes, random card purchases, weapon customization, stat growth, and progressively harder stages. Three characters with different starting stats can be combined with three regular weapons and one secret weapon.
