Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want action RPG combat combined with settlement defense

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a focused action RPG without colony construction, resource management, or defensive planning
- Those who prefer short, linear sessions may hit a wall when building settlements, gathering materials, and preparing for enemy waves
- Players seeking a purely solo experience will not use the online co-op component
Our take on First Dwarf
The bounce point arrives when exploration gives way to settlement management: players must arrange walls, turrets, resource systems, and other defenses while also responding to creature attacks, volcanoes, and Taint storms. Anyone wanting uninterrupted action may stop at the colony-planning layer.
What is First Dwarf?
First Dwarf is a survival action RPG set across floating islands damaged by magical corruption.
Players pilot a dwarven mech, travel with a scholar dragon, explore ruins and varied biomes, and investigate lost technologies and the source of the Taint. Colony building uses walls, turrets, resource systems, and defensive arrangements to protect outposts from enemy waves, volcanoes, and Taint storms. Melee weapons, ranged tools, mech abilities, armor, gadgets, and defensive equipment support combat and customization. Crafting involves gathering resources and unlocking blueprints. The game includes colony expansion, airship travel between settlements, decisions about corrupted wildlife, and online co-op alongside solo play.
