Our take on Fine Sweeper
Rather than keeping Minesweeper to a single repeatable board format, Fine Sweeper adds campaign progression, item-based assistance, abilities, scoring, and multiple leaderboard types. It also preserves a classic mode for players who want the familiar rules without extra lives.
What is Fine Sweeper?
Fine Sweeper reworks Minesweeper with a campaign of increasingly difficult levels and larger playing fields.
A tutorial slideshow introduces the mechanics, while Classic Mode removes extra lives for a more traditional format. Separate game setup allows different difficulty levels, from relaxed play to demanding challenges. Item drops and extra lives from the Bank of Hearts provide abilities such as automatic flagging and safe tile opening. The game includes a scoring system, achievements, global and local leaderboards, and Steam Cloud synchronization for progress and settings. Boards always make the first click safe, but later progress can involve luck because not every board guarantees a solution without guessing.
