Our take on Sudoku Topology
The focus on topology-based Sudoku gives the game a narrow puzzle identity: variety comes from board geometry and clue interactions rather than from different genres, narrative content, or action systems. Its editor and Workshop features also shift part of the experience toward creating and browsing community puzzles.
What is Sudoku Topology?
Sudoku Topology combines Sudoku puzzles with boards shaped as spheres, cubes, cylinders, toruses, tetrahedra, dodecahedra, Möbius strips, Klein bottles, and other forms.
More than 60 handcrafted puzzles use familiar variant clues such as arrows, thermometers, killer cages, paired white-and-black dots, lines, and odd-even markers. Each puzzle is intended to be solved through deduction rather than guessing or brute force. An extensive hint sequence supports progression through difficult puzzles, while slow music and minimal visuals provide a quiet setting. A built-in editor with a solver allows custom 3D puzzles to be made and shared through Steam Workshop, where other players' creations can also be played. Mouse-only controls are supported, with no time-sensitive or simultaneous inputs required.
