Our take on Tilesweeper
The presentation places emphasis on stylized visuals and future downloadable themes, but the current scope is narrower: one available theme, traditional Minesweeper boards, and an arcade mode built around altered layouts.
What is Tilesweeper?
Tilesweeper reworks Minesweeper with stylized visual themes and two level types.
Classic boards use the familiar 9x9, 16x16, and 30x16 formats, while arcade boards use unusual shapes and dimensions. The available theme is Castle, which provides the setting for both modes. Additional themes are planned as downloadable content. The game keeps the traditional Minesweeper structure for its classic levels while adding a separate arcade format that changes the layout of the board.
How Tilesweeper plays
- 01Classic Board Sizes
- Traditional levels are available in 9x9, 16x16, and 30x16 layouts.
- 02Irregular Arcade Boards
- The arcade mode uses boards with non-standard shapes and dimensions.
- 03Castle Theme
- The current visual setting presents the levels with a castle-themed design.
