Event scenes include voice acting, while characters show emotional changes during the story. Dungeon maps begin blank and fill in as players explore. The game also includes a music player, updated interface, and retouched cutscenes. Players can choose Normal or Hard difficulty. Autosave and other save options allow play to stop at any time without losing progress. The PC version supports gamepads, keyboard, mouse, and touch controls, and offers full-screen display up to 21:9.
