Our take on Fear The Timeloop
The time-loop structure gives each attempt a clear limit and preserves progress through memory, but it also keeps the experience centered on repeated runs through the same hospital rather than continuous forward travel.
What is Fear The Timeloop?
Fear the Timeloop follows Sheriff James Cooper, who wakes in an unfamiliar hospital with an injury that will kill him after fifteen minutes.
Each death restarts the cycle while preserving his memories, allowing him to gain experience and change how he approaches the hospital. The story involves a serial killer, hostile monsters, mysterious figures outside Saint Heritage Hospital, and deputy Rose Watters, who may provide assistance. Gameplay combines third-person survival horror with an ability system that can be adjusted to different playstyles. Dialogue changes according to early decisions and the route taken through the loop. Revisitable areas contain new abilities and items, with progression structured around Metroidvania-inspired exploration.
