Our take on Fate Hunters
The store pitch emphasizes treasure and upward progress, while the central risk is harsher: wounds, poison, and curses can stay in the deck, and leaving the tower ends the attempt to gather more treasure.
What is Fate Hunters?
Fate Hunters is a single-player deckbuilder set in a dark fantasy tower.
Players choose one of five characters, craft a deck, and explore procedurally generated levels filled with random items, weapons, skills, monsters, and bosses. Tactical card battles form the main combat system, while traps add danger during exploration. Weapons, items, treasures, and skills all enter the same deck, alongside wounds, poison, and curses that can remain throughout a run. At each level, players can leave with their treasures or continue upward while risking their loss. The Early Access version includes more than 150 weapon, skill, and item cards, 10 additional deck cards, 35 monsters, and 15 unique bosses.
