Our take on Fat Baby
Players may bounce off the progression when growth depends on repeatedly searching maps for objects to eat. The next friction point arrives when spending fat on abilities becomes the main development system, leaving little indicated beyond size, destruction, and hunting smaller babies.
What is Fat Baby?
Fat Baby is a single-player action game about growing larger by consuming objects across destructible environments.
Players search maps for food and other items, ranging from cupcakes to cars, while avoiding environmental hazards and other babies. As the baby gains size, it can tower over smaller opponents, hunt them, and take their accumulated fat. Collected fat can be spent on abilities, which are then used to damage the surrounding landscape and cause further destruction. The objective combines exploration, eating, survival, and attacks against both the environment and other baby characters. The game is available in single-player mode.
