- Players looking for combat, crafting, or management mechanics will not find those as the stated focus.
Our take on Fall Of The MS Estonia
The bounce point arrives when the experience makes clear that it is a simulation rather than a story-based game. Players expecting dialogue, branching plot development, or a wider campaign may find the timed search through the sinking ferry too narrow.
What is Fall Of The MS Estonia?
This simulation places the player aboard the passenger ferry MS Estonia during its final voyage on 28 September 1994.
The ship is caught in a violent storm, while a system failure leaves its lifeboat system unusable. As a passenger, the player explores the vessel and searches for another route to safety before time expires, or remains aboard. The exterior of the ship can be explored, and the bridge is accessible. The experience focuses on the ship’s sinking and its surrounding maritime history rather than a conventional narrative campaign. The MS Estonia sank in the Baltic Sea while traveling from Tallinn to Stockholm, resulting in the deaths of more than 800 passengers and crew.
