Our take on Fae Tactics
The store framing gives substantial attention to the setting, Peony’s journey, and tensions between humans and fae. Its concrete play structure is more specific: turn-based tactical battles, elemental matchups, party customization, creature collection, and flexible conflict exploration.
What is Fae Tactics?
Fae Tactics follows Peony, a young magic user, through a world reshaped after broken Elemental Gates brought fae creatures into the natural world.
The game uses menuless, turn-based tactical combat, with party elements managed to counter enemy elements. Peony can summon allies, cast spells, recruit characters, and develop their abilities. Fae creatures can be defeated and added to the team, while collected spells provide additional combat options. Exploration takes place across colorful isometric environments, where players investigate conflicts between humans and fae. The story’s conflicts can be explored in any order, with the setting built around the aftermath of the worlds’ merger and the tensions among its survivors.
