Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a light or low-conflict experience may find the focus on combat and horrific enemies too grim.

- Players looking for cooperative play may not find the solo-developed game's described journey suited to that preference.
Our take on FADE
Rather than centering its premise on a single antagonist, FADE sets players against five monarchs, each with a distinct approach to alchemy and combat. Its campaign pairs that multi-boss conflict with settlement exploration, side quests, and crafting.
What is FADE?
FADE is a third-person dark fantasy action RPG set in Baltane.
Players explore the settlements of Celeste, Solemn, Whisper, and the Baltane Capital while trying to stop five Homunculus Monarchs from sacrificing the country. Each monarch has a distinct approach to alchemy and combat. The journey includes fighting bosses and other hostile beings, collecting loot and equipment, completing side quests, and crafting useful items. The game combines combat influenced by the Souls series with a story direction drawing on Fable and Fullmetal Alchemist. It is a solo-developed project.
