Our take on Exit: A Biodelic Adventure
The defining detail is its puzzle interface: natural and implanted organs act as usable tools, communicate with one another, and can be applied to almost anything in the living-technology environment.
What is Exit: A Biodelic Adventure?
Investigate a neuronet epidemic in a surreal world of living technology, where people are controlled by the mysterious Worm.
This point-and-click adventure takes place in a smart house filled with biological and alchemical imagery. Solve puzzles by using natural and implanted organs, including a nose, mouth, bioport, detached ear, sniffer snails, brain cartridges, and pheromone pods. Talking cursors and other characters react humorously to many actions, including incorrect ones, which can also produce unique reactions and achievements. Built-in hints provide assistance during puzzles. The adventure takes about 5–8 hours, with optional exploration across locations such as a rooflid, ichthyoserver room, and a shoggoth’s lair. Its tone shifts from comic questing toward darker science fiction.
