Our take on EXFIL
Many tactical shooters center matches on opposing player teams in fixed arenas. EXFIL also puts AI factions into the battlefield, where they patrol, reinforce, and fight over territory while squads pursue objectives and extraction.
What is EXFIL?
EXFIL is a tactical infantry shooter with PvP, PvPvE, and co-op modes.
Missions include extracting intel, attacking anti-air systems, protecting or targeting a VIP, and team deathmatches. In Combat Ops, AI factions patrol, reinforce positions, and fight across the map while players pursue randomized objectives and plan an extraction. Seven handcrafted maps include forests, industrial areas, military camps, and jungles, with a 24-hour day/night cycle and changing weather. Combat uses simulated bullet drop, penetration, and ricochet, alongside weapon handling and proximity chat.
Players can adjust settings such as AI presence, time, weather, weapons, and respawns, and can use self-hosted or dedicated servers. The vendor says additional weapons, utilities, scope options, and a purchasing system are planned for the lead-up to version 1. 0.
