Our take on Eternal Strands
The store emphasis on freedom and reactive elements can make the game sound like an entirely unscripted sandbox. Its core structure is still a fantasy action RPG with defined abilities, crafted gear, open zones, giant enemies, and story content.
What is Eternal Strands?
Eternal Strands is a third-person fantasy action RPG set across open zones in the Enclave.
Brynn, a Weaver, uses fire, ice, and telekinetic magic alongside crafted weapons and armor. Combat combines swordplay, spells, climbing, and attacks on weak points, including battles against enormous creatures. Environmental effects shape encounters: heat can ignite vegetation, cold can freeze objects, and physical forces can move trees and boulders. Exploration includes climbing surfaces, creating bridges, breaking barriers, and launching Brynn across gaps. The game also includes a capital city, a base camp with supporting characters, and mysteries beneath the wilds. Free updates add a map, abilities, equipment designs, a story difficulty, armor dyeing, and other content.
