What is Equalizer?
Equalizer is a 3D arcade platformer set inside a music tape recorder.
Players jump across platforms, collect melodies, and adjust the soundtrack and surrounding environment while moving toward a portal at the end of each level. Melody pickups must be gathered within timed intervals. Missing the next melody darkens the environment, stops the music, and requires the sequence to be collected again. After gathering several melodies, the player must reach the portal as soon as possible to finish the stage. The game combines platform jumping with music in a bright audiovisual setting and includes tracks associated with trance, house, dubstep, and trap. Its levels require quick decisions as players maintain the music while navigating toward the goal.
