- Players looking for multiplayer competition or social features may not find a suitable mode here.
Our take on Energy Cycle
The three-mode presentation suggests broad variety, but all modes use the same color-changing puzzle mechanic. The differences are mainly whether puzzles are prepared or random and whether timing, scoring, or continuous play is used.
What is Energy Cycle?
Energy Cycle is a color-matching puzzle game.
Clicking a cell changes its color along with the cells directly beside it horizontally and vertically. The objective is to make the entire field one color. Puzzle mode presents prepared challenges without a timer. Time Attack uses randomly generated puzzles with a timer and scoring. Infinite Play also uses random puzzles and has no timer, allowing continuous play. The core challenge stays focused on planning the effects of each click across the grid.
How Energy Cycle plays
- 01Prepared puzzles
- Puzzle mode provides set challenges without a time limit.
- 02Timed random challenges
- Time Attack combines randomly generated puzzles with a timer and scoring.
- 03Continuous random play
- Infinite Play removes the timer while retaining randomly generated puzzles for ongoing sessions.
- 04Neighbor color changes
- Each click changes the selected cell and adjacent cells in the horizontal and vertical directions.
