- Players seeking a non-VR game may not find this suitable.
Our take on Endurium
The store page emphasizes escalating speed and a broad set of abilities, but the core activity remains repeated VR survival against incoming beams. Progression and customization add variation, while the described structure stays focused on arcade combat rather than a broader campaign.
What is Endurium?
Endurium is a VR arcade defense game built around surviving incoming beams while fighting the drones and bots that launch them.
Combat combines freeform beam deflection, plasma-blade melee attacks, returned fire, and optional abilities such as thrown swords, a blaster, time slowing, force fields, and explosions. Progression grants credits after each attempt, including failed runs, which can raise health, blade reach, energy-wave damage, or damage-related time dilation. Clearing levels also opens equipment modules that modify abilities. Players select a loadout and can alter each plasma blade’s color, material, and components. The pace increases from slower encounters toward light-speed combat, with randomly changing timing rather than a fixed rhythm.
How Endurium plays
- 01Beam Deflection
- Incoming shots can be countered with either hand while combat continues against the units firing them.
- 02Credit Upgrades
- Earn credits from every attempt and spend them on health, blade reach, energy-wave damage, or time dilation.
- 03Ability Loadouts
- Equip options including thrown swords, a blaster, temporary time slowing, force fields, auto-targeting, and field-clearing explosions.
- 04Blade Customization
- Change the appearance of each plasma blade through its color, material, and components.
