Our take on Elementite
The defining combat constraint is elemental matching: enemies resist particular damage types, so Chrono must switch firearms or attacks in real time to exploit their vulnerabilities.
What is Elementite?
Elementite is a third-person shooter RPG set in the ruins of a future metropolis after civilization’s collapse.
Chrono, a former government fighter altered in a research laboratory, uses time-based abilities in close combat, including teleportation and slowing effects. Firearms can carry fire, ice, electricity, or poison, while enemies resist particular elements, requiring weapon changes during encounters. Talent points support Power, Vitality, or Agility specializations as Chrono levels up. The game combines stealth and armed combat across an open world with primary and secondary missions, repeatable level play, crafting resources, skill trees, equipment upgrades, dimensional battle arenas, cinematics, and dynamic boss fights.
How Elementite plays
- 01Elemental weapon switching
- Enemies resist specific damage types, so combat requires selecting weapons that match their vulnerable element.
- 02Time-based melee
- Chrono can combine knife attacks with abilities that alter movement and timing, including teleportation and slowed action.
- 03Three talent paths
- Level-up points can be assigned to damage, resistance, or time-focused abilities.
- 04Open-world missions
- The world contains primary and secondary objectives, with levels available for repeated play.
- 05Stealth or combat
- Encounters support either covert approaches or armed fighting.
