Our take on Echoes
Players who rely on mouse controls may hit a wall at the controls: the provided schemes are for keyboard or gamepad, and some keyboard assignments can be changed in the options.
What is Echoes?
Echoes is a 2D pixel-art roguelike centered on dungeon exploration.
Each attempt generates a new dungeon, and reaching its deepest point completes the game. Along the way, players collect weapons and items while facing varied enemies. The game includes a standard difficulty and a lower-difficulty mode. Runs can be paused. Keyboard and gamepad controls support movement, attacks, item management, and menus. Movement options include dashing, diagonal travel, and turning while moving. A resizable minimap is available, and a gun can be fired when equipped. Some keyboard assignments can be changed in the options menu.
