Our take on EatWell
Instead of a fixed dungeon sequence, the game uses procedurally generated catacombs for its rescue story. Blood-cell collection also links stage exploration to gaining power-ups and abilities, placing resource gathering within the combat progression.
What is EatWell?
EatWell sends the player into a netherworld to rescue a kidnapped lover from a blood-draining monster.
Collecting blood cells throughout each stage builds energy for power-ups and new abilities. These support fights against a variety of monsters and unique bosses. Dungeons and catacombs are procedurally generated, and stages include hidden areas to discover. The game describes its controls as easy to use, with mastery taking more effort. Soundtrack credits go to CodeManu, Joth, and nene; sound design is credited to SubspaceAudio.
