Our take on Dustbowl
The defining structure is survival through a wasteland where hunger, thirst, and sickness sit alongside questing, random encounters, and exploration across more than 50 locations.
What is Dustbowl?
Dustbowl is a post-apocalyptic adventure RPG about surviving after a disaster.
The player leaves an underground shelter called the Hub and searches the wastelands for food, water, and other supplies. Hunger, thirst, and illness affect survival. Exploration covers more than 50 locations containing loot, quests, secrets, and random encounters, including combat, points of interest, wandering NPCs, and Easter eggs. A main quest leads across the wastelands, while conversations with characters use individual portraits and colorful dialogue. The crafting system turns collected junk into tools. The game also includes a father who lives with the player in the Hub before the journey into the ruins begins.
