Our take on Dungeon Town
The game’s broad mix of dungeons, quests, relationships, and companions comes with added management between expeditions. Recruiting more characters expands available skills but also creates extra party-management demands.
What is Dungeon Town?
Dungeon Town follows an experienced adventurer who loses his powers and memories after confronting demons from a cave linked to their world.
Returning to Famos Village, he explores randomly generated dungeons with changing layouts and loot, gathers weapons, and battles monsters with differing damage resistances. Some intelligent creatures can be persuaded rather than fought, although others refuse negotiation. In town, the adventurer upgrades equipment, accepts quests, and builds relationships with villagers. Characters including barmaids, priestesses, and nobles may become companions, each bringing distinct skills while also increasing party management demands. Quests can have different outcomes based on the player’s approach. The game also includes a soundtrack by composer Shade.
