Our take on Dungeon Lord
The focus on a long, story-led fantasy narrative leaves less room for a compact, action-centered structure. Monster summoning, examination, and evolution frame the experience around management and progression rather than a narrowly defined combat loop.
What is Dungeon Lord?
Dungeon Lord follows Montecristo, a demon betrayed by his subordinates and defeated by humans.
A miracle sends him back before his downfall, but he returns in the body of a small child. Knowing what lies ahead, he turns to his dungeon and investigates who betrayed him. The game combines a fictional fantasy narrative with monster management: players summon creatures, examine them, and evolve them. The vendor describes the story as roughly 500 pages long and includes animated female characters and performances by professional Korean voice actresses. It is based on a Korean internet novel and was written by Workingdog, whose previous credits include the mobile games She is a Mermaid and The Fox Awaits Me.
