Our take on Dungeon Deathball
Instead of treating sport as a clean contest between stable teams, the game places touchdowns inside lethal dungeon trials. Turn-based enemy prediction and monster manipulation replace the usual continuous match structure, while randomized gauntlets make each competition a survival run.
What is Dungeon Deathball?
Dungeon Deathball combines turn-based tactics with an arcade death-sport structure.
Players lead a team of captive characters through randomly generated dungeon trials, aiming to score touchdowns while surviving monsters, traps, and the penalty of death. Enemies reveal their intended actions before each turn, allowing players to avoid attacks or turn monsters against one another. Runs randomly generate opponents, traps, and team members, creating a different gauntlet each time. Characters can be recruited, and their special skills can be unlocked. Additional modes include a daily challenge, repeated boss encounters in Judgment Mode, and faster play in Action Mode. The game also includes Steam Achievements, global leaderboards, controller support, and Steam Cloud save support.
