Random events can change combat effectiveness and influence how far a run continues. Progress involves collecting spoils, improving the character, finding more than 100 runes, and challenging stronger bosses. The game includes six unique bosses and more than 50 different battles. Defeating a boss grants stronger runes. Players must keep improving and challenge additional floors while deciding whether to take high-risk opportunities or proceed cautiously.
