The story unfolds through exploration, faction interactions, and discoveries instead of a linear sequence. The world’s factions respond to an event that made living beings immortal and raised the dead as soulless creatures. Actions can affect settlements and rival groups, while procedurally generated encounters offer items, allies, secrets, and challenges. The game uses pixel art with 2D HD textures.
