Is DRONE PERSPECTIVE worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Tactical players who want to direct small military squads in real time

- Scenario creators interested in building and sharing custom combat missions
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a conventional real-time strategy game with broad base-building or economic management
- Players who prefer relaxed or forgiving combat, since the game emphasizes suppressive fire, casualties, and difficult tactical decisions
- Players looking for a primarily narrative adventure rather than battlefield command and mission planning
Our take on DRONE PERSPECTIVE
The focus on precise real-time battlefield direction leaves little room for broad strategic management. Players manage squads, positioning, and fire support from the drone, but the design does not center on building an economy, expanding a base, or commanding large armies.
What is DRONE PERSPECTIVE?
Command six soldiers divided into four squads from a drone flying above modern battlefields.
Real-time tactics center on positioning, coordinated movement, suppressive fire, and assaults on enemy positions. Equipment includes rocket launchers, bomb drones, and artillery barrages. The story campaign contains 10 levels across forests, urban areas, and other combat settings, plus three secret levels with experimental gameplay. Single-player and cooperative play are available. Hard Mode adds randomized enemy appearances and roaming squads. An in-game operating system connects missions with emails, software maintenance, and a conspiracy-focused meta-game. The Simulation Editor and Community Workshop provide tools for creating and sharing combat scenarios, with these features becoming available during the story.
