Our take on Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp
The store presentation gives substantial attention to the animation and viewing option, but that bonus can make the release seem closer to an animated film than an interactive arcade game. The core experience remains a scene-based rescue built around timed player actions.
What is Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp?
Dirk the Daring must rescue Princess Daphne after the Evil Wizard Mordroc carries her into a time distortion and prepares to marry her.
The adventure presents animated scenes in an arcade-style format, with the rescue unfolding around a time machine and the threat of the Casket of Doom. Players must act before Mordroc places the Death Ring on Daphne. This PC version includes the original arcade scenes, an ending made for the Director’s Cut, and a viewing mode for watching the game’s animation. A bonus animatic shows a deleted pirate-ship scene.
