Our take on Path to purge
The game reverses a familiar demon-hunting setup by making the player the demon. Its combat also connects a battlefield summon to repeated purification, so enemy encounters build toward a supernatural intervention rather than only advancing through ordinary attacks.
What is Path to purge?
Path to purge is an action game in which the player controls a demon fighting humans corrupted by the Holy Spirit.
The story presents a modern society where people have lost their pursuit of truth, while the demon seeks to break the curse and confront the Holy Spirit behind it. During battles, purifying humans builds demon energy. When the energy is full, pressing F summons an Archon. Movement uses WASD, Spacebar handles interactions, and Tab displays status. Shooting occurs when the movement button is released, and reloading happens automatically while moving. The vendor also identifies support for Steam Deck.
