Our take on DRACOMATON
The store page gives substantial space to Forms, Mods, items, bosses, and secrets, but the playable structure is more focused: repeated single-player attempts through one factory tower. Build variety shapes the runs, while the campaign scope remains compact.
What is DRACOMATON?
Dracomaton is a top-down, single-player bullet hell roguelike starring Eclipse, a small robot exploring an abandoned factory.
Players fight corrupted training bots while climbing a tower tied to cosmic dragon secrets. The robot can switch between Forms with different strengths and weaknesses, then modify those Forms with traits from others to change its arsenal during a run. The game includes 16 Forms, three possible Mod versions for each, and more than 30 items that influence builds, including Chaos items. Runs feature fast-paced combat, three bosses, hidden discoveries about the factory and its wider world, and repeated attempts to reach the end. Controls support mouse and keyboard as well as controllers.
