Our take on Dr. Professor Scientist's Weapons Testing Facility
Players who need a fixed, predictable defense setup may hit a wall when weapon combinations, component rarities, and later run modifiers become central. Several customization systems also open only after wave progression and defeating Grand Daddy Crab.
What is Dr. Professor Scientist's Weapons Testing Facility?
Build a weapon-based defense setup by combining projectiles and modifiers instead of placing towers.
The game includes more than 15 projectile types, 41 modifiers, up to 15 weapon slots, and five rarities for each component. Clearing waves grants science points used to research additional projectiles and modifiers. After defeating Grand Daddy Crab, run modifiers can change later loops with effects such as backward-moving monsters, a supergun, or tiny enemies. Desired and undesired slots can influence which components appear. The game also includes an extra puzzle game, selectable major and minor disciplines, and one-handed play. Runs use slight roguelite elements, with unlockable modifiers and projectiles available through play.
