Our take on dotAGE
Its defining structure is a turn-based village builder where each run changes the buildings available for discovery, placing worker assignments and adaptation at the center of survival.
What is dotAGE?
Lead the Pips, a small group of villagers, as they start a community in an unoccupied valley and face a foretold catastrophe.
Place workers in roles such as growing crops, tending livestock, handling burials, making tools, building, training specialists, and gathering supplies. Choose when to end each turn. Runs vary, with different structures to uncover; the game includes a catalogue of 200-plus buildings, 30 trades, and 70 kinds of resources. As turns pass, forces of the world trigger increasingly severe incidents, including poisoning, illness, quakes, and other dangers. Recovering the Elder’s memories reveals extra mechanics, afflictions, VIP characters, and Elders. Several difficulty settings span calm town-building play and progressively harder mastery challenges.
