Our take on Doomsday Hunters
Its defining structure is repeated failure-driven experimentation: procedurally generated runs combine a pool of over 1200 items, while weapon modification and dismantling let each attempt develop a different arsenal.
What is Doomsday Hunters?
Doomsday Hunters is an isometric twin-stick roguelite shooter set after a cataclysm, where magic, alien artefacts, and post-apocalyptic technology coexist.
Procedurally generated areas contain enemies, traps, NPCs, hidden shops, and custom events. Runs focus on combining weapons, spells, skills, perks, relics, consumables, and other items to create synergies. Weapons can receive mods, gain random affixes, or be broken down for parts. The game includes over 160 enemies, 20 bosses, and more than 1200 items to discover and master. NPC interactions include negotiating, gambling, trading, and buying. Players repeatedly rebuild their arsenal after death while working toward defeating Dracula.
