Solo play includes 7 game modes, while online matches support up to 15 opponents across 4 multiplayer modes, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Wolf Pack co-op. Players pilot 8 craft equipped with more than 20 offensive weapons and defensive measures. The flight model supports manoeuvres such as barrel rolls and Immelmann turns. Maps include mining tunnels, pyramids and active volcanoes, with terrain that can affect encounters. Server options add variations such as Insta-Gib, Turbo Mode and Black Death. The game also includes joystick and configurable Xbox controller support, leaderboards, friend tracking, Steam Cloud and Steam Achievements.
