SimulationIs Docked worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players seeking a realistic port simulator rather than a general construction simulator
- Players who want structured contracts and rebuilding progress rather than unrestricted job selection
- Players interested in operating cranes and cargo vehicles rather than managing a business from an abstract interface
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking rapid pacing may find the cargo positioning, vehicle handling, and repair tasks deliberate.
- Players wanting activities beyond port machinery, cargo contracts, and infrastructure work may find the scope narrow.
- Players seeking all Deluxe Edition content immediately may not want expansion features scheduled for Summer 2026.
Our take on Docked
The emphasis on precise machinery operation makes cargo handling the central activity, but it narrows the experience to a specific kind of port work. Players looking for varied activities may find the focus on contracts, repairs, and infrastructure restrictive.
What is Docked?
Docked is a port operations simulator set in Port Wake after a hurricane.
In Campaign mode, players complete contracts, obtain resources, restore infrastructure, and unlock machinery while handling cranes, tractors, stackers, and carriers. Work includes transferring freight between vessels, the yard, and rail, securing ropes, balancing loads on flatbed trucks, and moving cargo through confined areas. Equipment deteriorates and requires repairs. Free Play removes campaign mission restrictions and lets players choose cargo jobs through a planning tablet, including unloading ships and trains. Weather and time of day can be changed. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game and an expansion with a magnet gripper, a forklift, additional jobs, milestones, and infrastructure upgrades scheduled for Summer 2026.
