Our take on Dizzy Rogues
Rather than separating movement from combat, this auto-runner makes weapon positioning part of each encounter: the weapon bounces through the environment and also serves as a defense. Level-end rewards are linked to combo performance, giving the run a scoring focus.
What is Dizzy Rogues?
Dizzy Rogues combines auto-running with turn-based combat.
Pivoting changes the weapon's position as it bounces off enemies and objects, while its blade can also deflect enemy attacks. Only the blade registers hits. Players build combos as they move through levels, collecting star pieces left along the path. Rocks reduce the combo timer, while cutting grass restores a small amount of it. At each level's end, a treasure chest awards star pieces based on the highest combo achieved, at half that combo value. Players can also purchase unique items.
How Dizzy Rogues plays
- 01Weapon-based defense
- The weapon can deflect enemy blades before players attack.
- 02Combo-based rewards
- End-of-level chests award star pieces equal to half the highest combo.
- 03Environment interactions
- Rocks shorten the combo timer, while cutting grass replenishes it slightly.
