Skip it if you…

- Players who want shooting without resource collection, upgrades, or gauge management may find the progression systems demanding
- Players looking for a primarily story-driven adventure may find the focus on combat and strengthening too narrow
Our take on Divine Orders
Players who rely on cautious avoidance may bounce off the Absorption system, because resource collection and safer positioning involve converting enemy bullets into Gems while attacking aggressively.
What is Divine Orders?
Divine Orders combines bullet-hell shooting with exploration and RPG-style character development.
During a stage, players select among multiple zones as conditions change and gather experience, materials, and money. These resources raise levels, improve weapons, and unlock additional weapons and skills. Progression leads toward confrontations with stage bosses. Damage is tracked through HP, so character and weapon upgrades can lessen its effect. Filling the Absorption gauge allows defeated enemies’ projectiles to become Gems. This mechanic supports resource collection and safer positioning, while rewarding an aggressive approach instead of avoiding every incoming shot.
How Divine Orders plays
- 01Selectable Stage Areas
- Each stage is split into several areas that can be tackled in the player’s chosen order.
- 02Resource-Based Progression
- Experience, materials, and money can fund level increases, weapon strengthening, new weapons, and skills.
- 03HP Damage System
- Leveling up and strengthening weapons can reduce the damage received.
- 04Bullet Absorption
- A filled gauge can convert an enemy’s bullets into Gems when the enemy is defeated.
