Our take on Desecrators
The defining detail is unrestricted six-degrees-of-freedom combat: movement includes rolling, strafing, climbing, and diving through space without a fixed up or down.
What is Desecrators?
Set in 4096, Desecrators casts players as outlaw hovercraft pilots raiding installations across a war-torn Milky Way.
Its six-degrees-of-freedom combat allows rolling, strafing, climbing, and diving through fully three-dimensional environments without a fixed vertical orientation. More than 25 weapons, including guns, missiles, mines, a plasma thrower, and a railgun, support different attack ranges. Each campaign randomizes the route through procedural levels containing enemies, traps, and secrets. Foes include drones, coordinated war machines, rival desecrators, and possible experimental combat craft called Anomalies. The campaign supports solo play and online co-op for up to 4 players, with the full campaign also playable in VR.

Desecrators compared to similar games
Abyssus is also a multiplayer shooting game, but it uses hand-crafted levels in a roguelite adventure and centers on brine-powered weapons modified with ancient technologies. Desecrators instead uses randomized procedural levels, six-degrees-of-freedom flight, rival pilots, and installations that participate in three-way battles.
