Our take on Decks & Daggers
The defining structure is the loop between dungeon quests and tavern preparation: each expedition is followed by a visit where new cards can be bought, making deck construction central to later encounters.
What is Decks & Daggers?
Decks & Daggers combines dungeon exploration, role-playing, and deck building.
Hrothgar the Barbarian and Salazar, a young scholar, travel into dark places to fight monsters and search for treasure while a threat develops. Dialogue choices introduce characters such as Angvar the Skeleton King, Myrtha the Bog Witch, Equinox the Wizard, and Moloch the Rat Demon, revealing parts of their stories. After each quest, the party can visit a tavern and buy new cards from a merchant. Deck optimization is presented as part of surviving dungeon expeditions.
