Our take on De'Vine: Card Battles
Each fight begins with a selected lineup of seven cards, and no cards are drawn during combat.
What is De'Vine: Card Battles?
This strategy card battler follows a card master investigating why the enchantments binding monsters have begun to fail.
Its story takes place 40 years after De'Vine: World of Shadows. Choose seven cards for each fight; there are no card draws, and the selected build and strategy determine the outcome. Battles include story encounters, boss fights, a tournament against 16 other participants, and the Tower of Ascension, where difficulty increases at higher levels.
Cards have elements with distinct effects, including healing adjacent cards and dodging attacks. Battle rewards include cards or essences, which can be used to buy cards. The game also includes auto-battles for testing builds, more than 300 cards to collect, 16 playable characters, and voiced narration as the story progresses.
