Our take on Dave-Man
Rather than ending with a cleared level, Dave-Man extends its arcade loop into a work-and-retirement routine: earnings lead to shopping and dinner, then another day of collecting coffee beans. That domestic interlude gives the familiar pursuit structure an unusual endpoint.
What is Dave-Man?
Dave-Man is an office-themed arcade game with Pac-Man-inspired levels.
Each level asks Dave to collect every coffee bean and reach the coffee maker while avoiding Chatty Cathy. Completing a level earns money; failing leaves another attempt for tomorrow. Between workdays, the routine shifts to going home, shopping online, and having dinner before the cycle continues toward retirement. Money can be spent on items intended to occupy Dave in retirement. The game includes Story Mode and Arcade Mode, with 70 floors, 32 purchasable items, 25 NPCs to discover at the water cooler, and 12 power-ups for dealing with Chatty Cathy. Its soundtrack has 15 tracks, including 7 that play during normal levels.
