What is Dark Rose Valkyrie?
Dark Rose Valkyrie is a Japanese role-playing game about leading ACID, a covert military division defending humanity from people transformed by the Chimera Virus.
Battles take place in real time with teammates, while weapons and attack combinations can be tailored for each character. Characters may shift into stronger split personalities during combat, but repeated transformations cause Fatigue. Outside battles, visual-novel-style interrogations let the leader investigate party members and identify the teammate infected by the virus. Player choices determine which member betrays the group and can change the ending. The game combines party-based combat, character customization, investigation, and story decisions within its military campaign.
