Players seeking a conventional story campaign may bounce when the separate Survival Arena mode shifts the focus to platform defense, weapon switching, and teleportation. Those looking for a broader narrative may also reach the first installment's scope limit before finding a longer episodic story.
What is Crowe: The Drowned Armory?
Crowe: The Drowned Armory is a single-player, cinematic VR game and the first installment in an episodic series.
Players use VR motion controls to solve room-scale puzzles and fight alien attackers with an energy bow and mystical shield. With A. M. I. , a dormant techno-fairy, they restore power to an underwater reactor, reactivate a mechanized guardian, and face a dragon in a flooded temple. Survival Arena adds platform defense, requiring players to switch weapons and teleport between platforms before the one beneath them is destroyed. Dual cross pistols become available in this mode after Story Mode is completed. Experience Jayde provides six passive environments for exploration without the constant action of Survival Arena.
